1. Who or what is Aerie Foundation?

The Aerie Foundation is a charitable, faith-based organization that facilitates the development and transformation of individuals and the community. It does this by assisting individuals or groups to develop projects that will have a positive impact on the community. In addition to its lead Seniors' Program, the Aerie Foundation is focused on supporting the Bermuda community through an ongoing nursery and pre-school program, a computer laboratory for extracurricular education and cognitive development of senior citizens, and other programs at various stages of development. 2. How was The Aerie Foundation started?

The Aerie Foundation was started by various members of the community getting together in response to a call from Apostle Jimmie Denwiddie of New Creation Worship Center to contribute to the efforts to recover, restore, and rebuild a hurting Bermuda community. This resulted in the establishment of this Bermuda faith-based, non-profit organization: The Aerie Foundation (Charity #711) which officially launched in December, 2004. The Aerie Foundation believes that Bermuda's citizens and local communities must take the responsibility to face the challenge to remedy problems, educate our people and make society a safe, healthy and hopeful place for all of its members.

3. I understand that The Aerie Foundation is a 'faith-based' nonprofit organization. What does this mean?

The Aerie Foundation which is philanthropic in nature, is registered as a charity or non-profit, and is aligned with the Christian faith and embraces its' principles. The Foundation is respectful and inclusive of all individuals who desire to be a part of its' efforts, regardless of religious affiliation. The Foundation has a policy of partnering with people within the community and welcomes volunteers and supporters from a diversity of backgrounds

4. How can I become a volunteer of The Aerie Foundation?

Simply complete and submit the onlineVolunteer Application Form or click here to print and complete the application manually. The completed application can be faxed to (441) 296 5677, dropped off to The Aerie Foundation Administrative Office at 121 Middle Road, Devonshire, FL 03 Bermuda, or mailed to The Aerie Foundation, P.O. Box CR 330, Crawl, CR BX, Bermuda. A representative will contact you to discuss your application and set up a follow-up meeting.

5. How can I make a donation to The Aerie Foundation?

All donations may be submitted to The Aerie Foundation by the following options:

  • In Person via the Administrative Office at 121 Middle Road, Devonshire, FL 03 Bermuda
     
  • By mail to P.O. Box CR 330, Crawl, CR BX, Bermuda.

    Note: Checks should be made payable to The Aerie Foundation. Credit and/or Debit Cards are accepted.
